Excellent Service!!! And great food. Friendly environment and fantastic entertainment at night. Good social place to meet old friends and make new friends. Cant say enough good about the place.
One of my favorite places to go for several years. It has gone through a lot of changes and the service has always been wonderful. I go for lunch, dinner, or late night. The burgers are some of the best I’ve had in Morrisville and Desy’s food is made with love. The bartenders are very engaging and know how to make some of the best drinks - shout out to Bree and Sierra especially!
GREAT FIND !!! I happened to find Desy's as a good location for a business meeting and have enjoyed it so much that we go out of our way to eat here. Somewhere I had seen a review that it was run by a Middle Eastern group but I think that they must have been thinking about a different place. The owner/always there operator (Desy) is a wonderful lady from Bulgaria (Eastern Europe) and the food options cover any of the basics to delicious lamb burgers. The salads are among the best ever found in a restaurant and the fries/onion rings/ chicken wings will bring you back asking for more. All of the burgers and sandwiches are named after American Sports characters and it is hard to tell which is the best selection on the menu. Apparently they also support our US Military Veterans. If you like spicy hot, then this needs to be one of your special dining options just as it does for the normal taste choices. The service is outstanding and the mood is festive with the scent seasonal (Thanksgiving/Christmas) candles subtly in the background. We have eaten there during a lunch for two and been there for a party of 50. No drop in quality for the larger groups. If you want a variety of choices in your menu, check out Desy's . GREAT FOOD, good beverage selections and excellent martinis. If you have just landed at RDU after a long and stressful trip, it is the perfect place to get well fed and unwind.
This restaurant is not so great and area wise it is small. You will see most of the stuff is pretty old and ambience wise it doesn't look pretty.
Food is average and customer service is not as expected.
Stay clear - Should have known when I walked in, was the only one there (it was early for lunch 11:15 so that could be the case) and the two working were sitting in booth. And then I noticed the smell of "incense burning" and plenty of sports on the walls and TV's, its not the right mix... Very American cuisine menu with a sports bar atmosphere but with a Middle Eastern smell and music. Again not a good mix! But I'm always open to trying new places and food, so push forward. It went down hill more with the food. Lamb burger was pungent and musky tasting and the onion rings were fried in "old oil of garlic" I'm sure. I would have been better to go next door to the India restaurant and dined on the real thing instead of Middle Eastern folks trying to entertain the American folks. Stick to what you know or make it right!
