Our last visit was great. We come about once a week, and either we have great or slow service. Not usually in the middle. Food is usually tasty. Every now and then we get a dud of a plate. Chicken plates can be either fantastic or just down right uneatable.
This is very clean and nice location. The service was great and the food is always good. We always enjoy coming to Cracker Barrel because there are so many cute and unique gifts in the store. It allows us to reminisce about the old days or feel what it was like back then.
Unfortunately it was a terrible experience today. We were headed home from a family visit it was cold and damp out and we decided to pull over for some normally very good comfort food, boy was that a mistake pancakes and eggs were dry cold and hard the turkey sausage was way overcooked and cold texture like particle board. We also ordered chicken and dumplings which we were told 15 mins after ordering they were sold out. I can only assume the pancakes and egg meal had been sitting around while we had to make a new selection. The sides that came with the fried chicken were obviously sitting on the plate when the dumplings were ordered. Neighboring tables had to make multiple selections because they were sold out. Beverages weren't served for 20 mins at another table. So so disappointed we added an hour onto our commute for a very poor meal. Why weren't they prepared for Christmas Eve crowd?!
Hands down my favorite breakfast spot. There is usually a wait, but it's well worth it. You can check in online before heading over there and I would recommend doing that.
I never liked Cracker Barrel until I came to this location. The food is delish no matter the time of day or what I order. From breakfast to dinner, they never disappoint. The staff from the waitresses to the front store staff are so friendly and helpful. Love it!
