Faye was very helpful and super nice! The other gentleman was helpful as well with trying to find the pair of wedges I wanted that they did not have my size in stock with. She reminded me of my $15 rewards I had earned and we had a delightful conversation :)
We all have our days, and I get that. I've had my share too...But if a customer walks in the store and there are 3 people available after they're done with assisting other customers. Someone should greet the only remaining customer at minimum and ask if they need any help. I came to purchase 3 sets of shoes...1 for me, 1 for my youngest daughter, and 1 as a birthday gift for my wife. I guess these sales are not that important. The one sales person that spoke, I happen to turn around as he was going to walk past me and I said hello and he responded in kind and proceeded to the back. I have had 10 years of retail experience from working the floor, to store manager, to general manager of 5 locations. Customer service has certainly changed. Brick and mortar will continue to lose to internet sales with experiences like these, since essentially this experience I could've had at my computer. I can't blame the store so I'll just purchas at a different location. Or maybe find the same items at online retailer. What's amazing is I took the time to post this, I normally don't do it, unless I've had a good to great experience...or poor one.
For all the retail in the area, good shoe stores are lacking. Rack Room has a decent selection and always running a buy one get one 50 %off sale which is helpful with growing kids. We almost always buy our kids’ tennis shoes here.
