I do not wish ill on Cipher, I just hope that they will rethink what their games really are and how they want to be viewed in the "team building" space.

My reason I really didn't like this is that the place just felt old, rundown, and tired. It's physically located in the middle of an business/industrial complex which makes it difficult to find. When you arrive, the people are nice and the staff greet you warmly. Then you get into the room and realize that the games feel like they have either been played for thousands if not tens of thousands of times. They are worn out and, at times, the pieces you need are hard to read or it's obvious how to solve things because everyone has handled the pieces that make up the games to the point where you don't need to work out the game, just look for the worn out parts and those will be the ones you need.

Came here with 7 other friends for a first time escape room experience. We did the Baker Street Mystery which apparently has a

I can't wait to return!!

Management here was expectionally nice. My group arrived late and there was another room available that we could do instead. The directions were explained to us, the door was shut, and the fun began. An hour went by so fast and I loved the different level of clues. I highly recommend this place and give the NC Photo Hunt Room a go!

We had an incredible time rescuing the brewery’s secret recipe! The staff was welcoming and friendly as we arrived and the puzzles kept us on our toes. Definitely a fun experience on the weekend to make you feel like you can accomplish something! So much fun!

In the end, I likely didn't enjoy this because it's just not my type of game. I tried to help out but with the time limit, unless it was just something I absolutely knew, I'd get part way done and then someone would grab it out of my hand and finish it. Maybe this says more about our team interactions, but this is definitely not a "team building" place unless you have a strong team leader (who will actually show up to the event) and drive the team to work like a team. The staff certainly won't be conducting the team building (like many place do), so it's up to your team to do it on their own. Add to this the, not so professional construction and build of the room/site, and it made for a very unpleasant time. I'm glad that I didn't have any personal money in it because I felt like anything that was spent was a waste.

The other way that I could see the pieces being in the state they are is if they were all bought at a local thrift store and are replaced when they find the number of a given item (generally in different colors or shapes to make up the puzzles), then take those and sub them in for the parts that are falling to pieces.

Came here for a work team building event. We had a great time solving one of the puzzle rooms. They had a wide variety of some pretty neat puzzles. Looking forward to going back with some friends.

I went here with my team from work as a team outing. The website is very poorly written and it's difficult to tell what the actual point of the place is. Without ruining the rooms, I'll simply state that this is like a timed scavenger hunt/logic puzzle game in a room. If you've ever played one of these "locked room" games on your phone or other device, this place is basically the physical embodiment of those apps.
