Can't say enough great things about J.D. Floor and the fantastic job they did on my new Cali Bamboo floors! J.D. and Katie were very friendly and helpful while I was making my selection; and, provided a very fair price (I had 2 other estimates). I chose J.D. because they were recommended by the manufacturer. It was a great decision. Miguel and his crews did a superb job demolishing the old flooring, moving furniture and plumbing/appliances, and installing the new floors. This product is one of the hardest woods available and I could not have asked for a more perfect installation - no glitches at all. 1,400+ sf was completed in 3 days, with 2 days leftover for re-installation of plumbing/appliances and then painting the baseboards. I would highly recommend J.D. Flooring and all the nice professionals on their team!
Stay away from this company, they lie about their inventory to suck you in and after time has been wasted you find out you would have done better elsewhere. They are rarely open and unresponsive when you email them. Its a mom amd pop store with no real access to the items they display.
Extremely happy with the work that JD Floor Store did in our home! John was extremely helpful in working with us through the entire process of selecting and installing flooring for our entire home. This large project (old floor removal, new floor replacement, stair re-finishing) went off without a problem, thanks to the effort of John, Miguel and the entire crew. Over a year out, we are still very happy with our beautiful hickory flooring. I would highly recommend JD Floor Store!
We had hardwood flooring installed in our home in Cary 3 years ago and the floor is bowing against the walls of the entire house. We asked JD flooring to come and take a look several times since they gave us lifetime installation warranty and they never sent anyone. Early this year we had other flooring installed in the house by another company and they immediately told us that the hardwood floor was installed wrong. A big enough gap was not left between the floor and the wall and the right nails were not used to install the floor, so because of this, the floors are bowing at the walls of the entire house (first and second floor) as the wood naturally expands. Also, the nails are popping off so it sounds like a gun shot randomly through the year. We reported JD to Better Business Bureau after trying to get them to come take a look to see if they could repair, which should have been the case according to their warranty. They said that is a moisture issue (in the entire house, including the second floor, not on a specific spot of the house, which would indeed indicate a moisture issue in our crawl space) and not an install issue to not honor the warranty. Do not trust them! the floors were beautiful when installed, we were so happy, but now 3 years later they are literally popping up and bending our baseboards because they don't have enough room to expand. After paying so much money, we will need to redo our floors with a different company. Do not waste your money on this company! you will regret it later, check older reviews, we are not the first people to complain about issues with the floors down the road.
We spent weeks going back and forth with this company looking at HW flooring and when we decided on one and asked for an estimate we found out they had dated samples in their store that's not even available by the manufacturer. We kept going back and making other choices which then they were saying is discontinued but was inaccurate information because when we called the manufacture they sent us samples and sent us to a better company to buy from. Stay away from their store. they are wasting your time.
